Introduction

Creating a robust ecosystem for medical education across India has been a long-standing vision for advancing healthcare standards. In line with this vision, the Pan-India Initiative for Medical Educators, sponsored by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, was conceptualized to elevate the quality, accessibility, and reach of medical education in India.

Phase-I of this initiative focuses on developing a centralized digital platform, SARAL 2.0, that empowers medical educators and students by providing seamless access to structured courses, teaching resources, and collaborative learning environments. SARAL 2.0 is owned, managed, and maintained by SET Facility, AIIMS, ensuring academic rigor, technological reliability, and adherence to national medical education standards.

The initiative brings together expertise from leading medical institutions and aims to set a new benchmark for digital medical education in India, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence.

Functions of SARAL 2.0
